About MDADDICTS

MDADDICTS formed December 2008 with members Barrie Mason and Ronnie D live and produce works near the sun drenched beaches of Gold Coast Australia. With a history in dance, breaks, funk-electro and trance, producing music has always been an experimental affair. With producing own works or remixes for artists and DJ’s, this continues to evolve the sound and musical journey of MDAddicts.

Ronnie D has a long history in production and remixing. With a steady ear in composition has risen beyond the medium strip of musical composition. From studying and performing classical arrangements from his early teens, Ronnie D adds life and beauty to complex and diverse arrangements for MDAddicts. He is born for the ‘keys’.

Barrie with a history of leaping in and out of rock/R&B bands in his earlier years has seen him grow up playing a variety of instruments and producing works. With a keen heart on alternative sound with diverse mix of influences, Barrie’s arrangements are driven from the Rock/Pop/Dance culture and add another shade to the MDAddicts pallet. MDAddicts is full of perpetual motion, chaos and sometimes funky and beautiful. MDAddicts, stands proudly as one of the new duos on the scene to offer something different in today’s musical landscape.
